Happily knitting away

I wound up having to set the seedstitch scarf aside because I ran out of yarn, so I got to start on Ruffles (aka the Pink Noodle Scarf). I also (finally) managed to hold the first Knoon Knitting meeting this season. Two of us attended.

But at least I wasn't there knitting and listening to crappy 80's music alone.

I'm getting to the point where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on the Christmas present for MIL. After that, it's back to work on the seedstitch scarf (found more of the same yarn in my stash) and then, if there's time, the book I want to make for SIL.

In a perfect world, I'd make FIL a hat to go with last year's Christmas scarf and a pair of socks for BIL, but I doubt I'll have time.

I really want to make this scarf for the Other Human, but he says he won't wear scarves. Pffft.

First-ever Crafturday on Saturday, November 5. My friends and I will attempt to make Shrinky Dink stitch markers. The excitement, she builds.

I'd like to be knitting, right now. Instead, I am supposed to be working. Again, I say "Pffft."

I just don't like scarves much. They itch. Or they're too hot. I run too hot as I am.

In other news, check out the snarky comments I left on this guy's blog:

He's a radio dj who was arrested today for putting antifreeze in his wife's food. She died a year ago--took 'em long enough.
